This sample set is a great way to get your feet wet while trying out Zuka. Most stylists and barbers tell us that they prefer to have as many Zukas as they have clients in a day. This way they can always have a clean and fresh Zuka ready to use without cleaning between clients.

How to use Zuka

Integrating Zuka into your hair salon couldn't be easier.

DRAPE THE CAPE, DO NOT SMOTHER

With Zuka, the cape does not need to be tight around the client's neck. Zuka creates a pressure-free seal, which means the cape can be worn comfortably loose. Customers have told us that a loose cape with Zuka is more comfortable and provides a cleaner cutting experience. Comfortable customers are coming back! Be sure to follow your local laws and regulations regarding the use of sanitary strips.

The Zuka should rest on the chest and shoulders. It is not meant to be wrapped around the neck like a scarf. A good placement of the Zuka will guarantee a perfect seal and that no itch does not fall in the cleavage.

1/4 INCH NECK CONTACT IS ALL NECESSARY

The inner edge of the Zuka should make contact with the neck to create a good seal. The inner edge is tapered for flexibility and comfort. The overlapping edges adhere to each other to hold the Zuka in place without any ties.

ADJUST FOR COMFORT AND ACCESS TO NECK HAIR

Make sure the Zuka is seated low enough to allow trimming of neck hair. A collar that is loose enough to have spaces may leak, but the collar should not be tighter than necessary. With practice, adjustments are seldom necessary.

REMOVE ADDITIONAL HAIR
Zuka works like magic, but he cannot prevent mounds of hair from falling down the cleavage when it is removed. To avoid this, simply blow or wipe off the extra hair from the client's head and neck.

REMOVE FROM REAR TO FRONT

With one end in each hand, peel the Zuka in a back and forth motion so that the excess hair rolls forward on the cape. Take a step back and admire the happy customer you just created

Rinse, clean with a soapy solution or soak in a disinfectant solution
Rinse excess hair from the collar under running water. A little hand soap makes stubborn hairs slide off. Then soak in an approved disinfectant solution, or wash with soapy water. Be sure to follow local rules and regulations pertaining to your industry.

Once the Zuka is clean and disinfected, remove the Zuka and dry it with a clean towel. Once dry, place the Zuka in a clean container for future use. It is important to use a fresh and clean Zuka for each client to ensure the best experience and proper sanitation.
